Gangster spreads HIV through homemade tattoos

APPLE VALLEY - An AIDS-infected gang member may have spread the HIV virus to numerous sexual partners and people to whom he gave homemade tattoos using dirty tattoo needles. And officials warned a significant outbreak in HIV cases is possible. Dennis “Dog” Rios, 40, of Apple Valley was originally arrested last week for knowingly transmitting the virus that causes AIDS to several women over the last 10 years.
