Stupid News: cut off her finger with a sword

PRESCOTT, Arizona - An Arizona man is due in court to face charges that he forced his girlfriend to let him cut off her finger with a sword to earn his trust. Cops said Ronald Gene Olivier, 48, threatened to kill his 43-year-old girlfriend if she didn?t cooperate in the weird ritual Dec. 12. They said Olivier placed her hand on a table and sliced off a portion of her left pinky finger. She ran to a neighbor?s house afterward. Attacker pulls sword out of neighbor’s garden

Utah - Police arrested a Salt Lake City man accused of trying to attack a group of people with a sword. Several people were at a house on the 1000 South block of Pueblo Street. A fight started about 12:30 p.m., when the 40-year-old man and his girlfriend were asked to leave because they were smoking methamphetamine. He left the house and grabbed a large, blunt sword from a neighbor’s garden. Swinging the sword, he allegedly confronted the group and threatened to kill them....More
