Phelps has embarrassed himself again after a triumphant Olympics, this time getting his picture snapped as he inhaled from a marijuana pipe. The photo wound up in a British tabloid Sunday, forcing Phelps to publicly apologize and his handlers to deal with sponsors who are surely none too pleased about the swimmer's choices away from the pool.

"I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment," Phelps said in the statement released by one of his agents. "I'm 23 years old and despite the successes I've had in the pool, I acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner people have come to expect from me. For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public it will not happen again."

Bakri, who said the British people brought the 7/7 outrages on themselves and praised the ' magnificent' September 11 hijackers, raised his six children on benefits totalling £300,000, and his daughter is following suit.


She lives with her three-year-old son in a ground-floor flat in Catford, South East London. Her rent and council tax are paid by the state and she receives child benefit and income support.


She grew up a devout Muslim and in her teens wore a veil. She left school in Enfield at 16 after her parents arranged a marriage to a Turk but the couple separated.


She told The Sun: 'I've done pole dancing, but I like to keep it quiet.

“It just kept getting bigger and bigger and my windpipe got narrower because of all the swelling. I began to have difficulty breathing. It was terrifying and all because I wanted my skin to look a little better.”

It looks like I’ve had chicken pox,” she said. “I was outside for a few hours and when I got home it was really painful. Doctors also told me I now have a heightened risk of skin cancer.”


Holly, whose interview can be seen on video here, is suing the clinic, claiming it failed to do a skin test.


She said: “Women should be aware of the awful consequences if things go wrong.”
